posted 29th Jun

I am pleased to report that the children behaved beautifully throughout Mass this morning, especially all the children who were dressed in their First Holy Communion finery. They really are great ambassadors for the school – well done, everyone! Our final visit to church for this academic year will take place on Friday 13th July for our Leavers’ Mass. Do join us at the parish church for a 9.30 start if you can.

Sports Day

posted 29th Jun

Thank you for all the positive feedback we have received about this event. Thankfully, the weather was fantastic and, as ever, the children were spectacular in their efforts. Special thanks to Year 6 who planned, organised and supported the delivery of activities for the Early Years Sports morning, and some of whom helped with the organisation of the main school event in the afternoon. Congratulations once again to the children in the winning team, Argentina, and to the runner-up, Spain. I wonder if this a prediction of what is to come in the international footballing arena?

Hopefully, your child may have mentioned some of the activities which they engaged in during our ‘Feeling Good Day’ last Tuesday. As you can imagine, the school was full of excited chatter on the day. With all these new experiences, the children had a ball!

We’re all so proud of our Year 6 pupils. They organised a fabulous ‘Shop ‘Til You Drop!’ this year and it was an experience which was appreciated by all the other children in the school, as well as the staff. In total they managed to raise an incredible £500.00, which will be forwarded on in the next few days to the Kiddies Support Scheme (KISS) charity. For more details about the work of KISS, please click here.
