Mrs Batty has arranged for the year 3 pupils to visit the Natural History Museum in Tring on Thursday 4th April 2019. The children will be identifying and exploring the skeletons and teeth of different animals as part of their Science work and they will also view the new temporary ‘British Dinosaur’ exhibition.
Pupils will be transported by coach, which will leave school at 9.00 am and return by 3.00 pm.
The cost of the trip is £10.50. Should you find the cost prohibitive, please speak to Mrs Perry in confidence and she will do her best to help. No child will be excluded because of the cost.
School uniform should be worn, including a waterproof coat and comfortable shoes.
The children will need a packed lunch for the day (please do not include nuts or fizzy drinks). Packed lunches should be carried in a backpack so that pupils will have their hands free for the activities.
Pupils may bring a maximum of £3 to spend in the museum shop, which should be brought in a clearly named envelope or purse.
Permission and payment can be made via the online ParentPay facility. However, if you are unable to access this facility please complete and return the permission slip in a sealed, clearly named envelope with the correct money enclosed by Friday 29th March 2019.
As always parents are responsible for making sure that inhalers are carried by the children. If your child has an Epi-pen this will be carried by the teacher in charge. Please also remember that it is the responsibility of parents/carers to inform us in writing if their child experiences a medical condition which school staff should be aware of. Thank you.
