Add this to my Calendar

Tthe Year 3 residential trip to Wymondley Woods will take place on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th June 2018.

MEDICATION

Mrs Batty will have the usual first aid kit for any minor mishaps. If your child has a special medical need, allergy or requires medication to be administered, please give Mrs Batty written instructions and clearly named medication. Please also check that the emergency contact details held in the school office are up to date. If your child uses an inhaler please be sure to give Mrs Batty a spare one. We enclose a green OV7 form which requires completing and signing please.

COST

The cost of the trip will be £21.00 Should you find the cost prohibitive, please contact me in confidence and I will do my best to help. No child will be excluded from the activity because of the cost. Please make your payment via the online ParentPay system by Friday 18th May. It is a requirement that the enclosed green OV7 form be completed, signed and returned to school as this is a residential trip. Please ensure this is done by Wednesday 9th May, before the parents’ meeting, so that any medical issues can be discussed with Mrs Batty.

Mrs Batty, and two other members of staff have agreed to spend the two days (and a night) at Wymondley. We have also arranged for Arena Security to be present on site for 8 hours overnight, to ensure the safety of the children. The cost of this has been included in our calculations, as well as the cost of all of the food that will be provided.

PARENT HELPERS

We would appreciate some parental help in supervising the children during the activities in the day, with the preparation of the meals on Thursday evening and Friday lunchtime, and with the clearing away at the end of the visit. If you would be able to offer any assistance and have a DBS in place with the school, please advise the office.
