A school trip has been arranged for Year 3 pupils to visit Celtic Harmony, a Celtic village on Monday 19th March 2018. This visit will support the children’s History topic where the children will learn about Celtic Warriors, weapons, archery and Celtic dress.
The coach will leave school promptly at 9.00 am and will return by 3.15 pm.
Pupils will need to wear their own clothes, together with comfortable shoes and a waterproof coat as many activities will take place outside.
The children will also need to bring a packed lunch for the day. (Please do not include nuts or fizzy drinks).
The cost of the trip is £25.75. No child will be excluded because of the cost. Should you find the cost prohibitive, please contact Mrs Perry in confidence and she will do her best to help.
Permission and payment can be made via the online ParentPay facility by Monday 12th March. However, if you are unable to access this facility please complete and return the permission slip below in a sealed, clearly named envelope with the correct money enclosed by Monday 12th March.
As always parents are responsible for making sure that inhalers are carried by the children. If your child has an Epi-pen this will be carried by the teacher in charge. Please also remember that it is the responsibility of parents/carers to inform us in writing if their child experiences a medical condition which school staff should be aware of.
If you are able to assist with this trip and already have a DBS in place with the school, please complete the reply slip below and hand in to the school office.
